Like the Patapum Baby Carrier, the Patapum Toddler Carrier can be use for back carry position. Wearing your toddler in the back carry position is one of the most comfortable methods for bringing your tired toddler around, especially on trips. When worn correctly, you can go on without feeling any strain at all and the taller child can look out without blocking your view.
Just follow these instructions to master the back carry position using the Patapum Toddler Carrier:

Start Here
Step 1. Put on the Patapum Toddler Carrier hip belt and fasten in front. It should sit snugly on your hips, with the body panel behind you. Squat down and ask your toddler to hop onto your back and place his hands on your shoulders.
*Tip: An alternative will be to sit on a bench and ask your toddler to hop on instead. This method is especially useful for those with back problems or those who have some problems with bending down.

Step 2. Wear the Patapum toddler carrier shoulder straps one at a time, fastening the compression side straps once baby’s leg is in each leg opening. Jiggle a little so that baby is eased into the seat of the body panel. |
Step 3. Fasten the Patapum Toddler carrier chest straps across your chest and adjust shoulder straps by pulling backwards for snugness.

Step 4. Ensure that baby’s buttocks is sitting right in the middle of the Patapum toddler carrier's body panel and there is no excess material under the buttocks.
